# Your account

> Manage how you sign in, your profile, email, and account deletion.

Your account settings cover how you sign in, your profile details, and how the web app and extension stay in sync.

## Signing in

You can sign in two ways:

- **Google.**
- **Passwordless email.** Stashr emails you a 6-digit code. There is no password.

## Profile and email

Open **Settings > Account** to manage:

- **Profile photo.** Upload an image.
- **Email.** Your address is shown read-only. Click the pencil button to change it. The new address is verified with a 6-digit code, with a 60-second resend cooldown.

## Appearance

Theme (**Light** / **Dark** / **System**) and grid/mosaic column counts live in **Settings > Appearance**.

## Sessions and the extension

Signing in on the web also signs the extension in: it shares your web session. Signing out of the web app signs the extension out too. See [Install the extension](/docs/install-extension).

## Deleting your account

Open **Settings > Account** and choose **Request account deletion**. This opens an email to support, and deletion is handled for you. It is not a self-serve button.
