# Archive

> Prune your library on your own terms with a 30-day safety window before deletion.

Archiving lets you tidy your library without deleting anything right away. Archived bookmarks leave your normal views but stay recoverable for a while.

## Archive a bookmark

- From a card's **...** menu, choose **Archive**.
- To archive several at once, enter **Select** mode, choose the bookmarks, then click **Archive**.

## The Archived page

Open **Archived** from the sidebar to see everything you have archived. It offers Grid, Row, and Timeline views (there is no Mosaic view here).

A banner at the top reads: "Archived items are permanently deleted 30 days after archiving."

Each archived card shows:

- A countdown, like "12d left". It turns a warning color during the final 7 days.
- An always-visible **Restore** button. You can also bulk restore using select mode.

After 30 days, the bookmark and its stored media are permanently deleted. There is no un-delete after that point.

## Things to know

- Archiving does not refund your AI tagging allowance on trial accounts.
- Unsaving on the platform (for example, removing an X bookmark) also removes the bookmark from Stashr. Archive is different: it is for pruning your library on your own terms while keeping a recovery window.
