Does Stashr save my Instagram saves automatically?

Yes. Once the extension is installed, every post or reel you save on Instagram is captured the moment you tap the ribbon.

Does it keep the images, or just a link?

The images. Stashr stores the photos and caption with your copy, so it doesn't go blank when Instagram's links expire.

What about reels and videos?

Reels are saved with their cover image, caption, and a link back to the original. The video file itself isn't stored, since Instagram's video links expire, but your copy keeps everything you need to find and recognize it.

Will re-saving create a duplicate?

No. If you save something you already have, Stashr silently updates your existing copy instead of adding a second one.

Can I import the posts I've already saved?

Yes. A one-time import backfills your saved posts into your library as permanent copies.

Can I add notes when I save?

Not yet. Saving is a single tap today. The ability to add notes and other details at save time is coming.

What Stashr saves from Instagram

Instagram's saved collections are a black box. There's no search, no export, and the links behind your saves expire within days, so a post you saved last week can quietly rot into a blank tile. Stashr captures the post the moment you save it. Tap the ribbon on a photo, carousel, or reel and your extension grabs it and files a permanent copy in your library.
