Connect Stashr over MCP so Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or Cursor can search your saves, pull the right one mid-conversation, and even stash new links for you.
What it does
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI tools plug into outside sources of information. Stashr ships an MCP server, so the assistants you already use, Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, and others, can reach your library directly.
Once it's connected, your AI isn't working from the open web alone. It can search the things you saved by meaning, read any of them in full, and pull the right one into the conversation. It works the other way too: ask it to stash a link, tag your saves, or build a collection, and it does the filing for you. The hosted connection uses Stashr sign-in, so there is no package to install or secret key to paste into a config file.
How it works
1. Add the Stashr URL
Add https://stashr.me/mcp as a remote server in ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor, or any Streamable HTTP MCP client.
2. Sign in and approve
Sign in to Stashr in your browser and review the read, update, and delete permissions before connecting.
3. Ask your assistant
From then on, ask your assistant anything that touches your saves. It searches your library, reads what it needs, and files what you tell it to.
