How to delete all your saved posts at once, app by app
Want a clean slate? Most apps have no delete-all button. Which ones really do, the fastest route on the rest, and what to back up before you wipe it.

You want a clean slate, and the app you saved everything in has no button for it.
Can you delete all your saved posts at once?
Rarely. Here's the answer per app. We count a bulk option as real only if the platform's own help documents it, and we say so when only third parties describe one.
| App | Real bulk option? | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| X | Yes, per X's help | Remove all from the more menu on your Bookmarks |
| Not documented | Third-party guides describe Select, then Unsave, in the app | |
| None found | Unsave one at a time | |
| TikTok | None found | Unfavorite one at a time |
| None found | Unsave one at a time | |
| YouTube Watch Later | None found | Remove one video at a time |
| Whole boards only | Delete a board and its Pins go with it | |
| Threads | None found | Unsave one at a time |
| None found | Unsave one at a time |
Nobody tested these apps for this post. The table rests on their help pages. X, Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok's help pages wouldn't fully load for us, so for those we read search extracts or found nothing usable. Menus change, so your screen may differ.
Back up first, because deletion isn't reversible
We found no documented way to restore a save you removed. The one exception is a deleted Pinterest board, covered below. You can re-save a post if you can find it again, but after a mass delete nothing tells you what used to be there.
Check what a backup actually gives you, since many exports are lists of links:
- X: there's no export button, so you need another tool.
- Reddit: request your data and look for
saved_posts.csv. - Instagram: the data export gives you links, not your saved photos or videos.
- TikTok: the data export reduces each Favorite to a date and a link.
A link stops working when the post is deleted, so an export tells you what you saved without necessarily keeping it. Stashr does keep it: on desktop, it copies the text and images of your saves from X, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and its import pulls in the backlog you're about to clear.
Keep your Stashr copies while you clear a platform
Stashr is a good place to keep what you're about to clear, because its copies outlast the originals. It also mirrors each platform's save button, and that includes unsaving. Its docs say that removing a save on X, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or LinkedIn removes the item from Stashr too, with an "Unstashed" tooltip. (For Facebook the docs describe unsaving from your feed. We couldn't confirm the Saved page behaves the same, so assume it does.) That's a real delete, not a move to Archive, so there's no 30-day recovery window.
To clear a platform and keep your copies:
- Import first. Press Import on that platform, wait for "Up to date", then wait for the popup to show "All synced".
- Turn that platform off. Use its switch in the extension settings, in every browser where you have Stashr installed.
- Clear your saves. If you see "Unstashed", stop, because capture is still on.
- Turn the platform back on when you're done.
Do this whichever method you use. Stashr runs only in desktop browsers, so it doesn't see an unsave made in a phone app, and that copy stays. X's remove-all isn't the per-post button Stashr watches, so it may leave your library alone, while a tool that clicks Unsave for you may not. With the switch off, you don't have to guess.
Once your saves are in, Stashr keeps the text and images of everything it captures, searchable in plain English, even after the originals are gone. Videos keep their poster frame, though playback needs the original, there's no one-click library export, Reddit's import reaches about 1,000 items (Reddit's own listing limit), and YouTube, Pinterest, and Threads saves aren't captured yet, so back those up another way.
How to delete all your X (Twitter) bookmarks
X is the one app here with a documented option. Its help center describes a more icon at the top of your Bookmarks timeline that removes them all. We couldn't open that page, so this comes from a search extract and a guide that quotes it.
- Open your Bookmarks. On an updated iPhone app, they're under History.
- Tap the three dots at the top.
- Choose the clear option, which third-party guides label Clear all Bookmarks, and confirm.
Guides conflict on the website. One from October 2026 and an older one describe it there, while another from August 2026 says the web has no equivalent. The October guide also says the option can be missing on some app versions, so if you don't see it, update the app or try another device.
How to delete all saved posts on Instagram
Instagram's help documents removing a post from a Collection, but we found nothing official on unsaving in bulk. Third-party guides describe this in the app:
- Go to Saved, then open All posts.
- Tap the three dots at the top right, then Select.
- Pick your posts and tap Unsave.
They disagree on the details. Guiding Tech gives those steps without separating iPhone and Android, and says the website only unsaves one at a time. TechCult says iOS can select everything in one tap, while Android makes you pick each post and then unsave them together. Both are from 2023 or 2024, so we can't tell you what your version does.
If you see Select, use it. If not, open each post and tap the filled bookmark icon. Deleting a Collection isn't a shortcut, since it removes the folder, not the saves.
How to delete all saved posts on Reddit
We found no unsave-all in Reddit's help. Open the saved tab on your profile, open the ... menu on each post or comment, and choose the save option again to unsave it. Reddit's help puts Save in that overflow menu, though we couldn't open the page to confirm the Unsave label. Its shortcuts page lists Save/Unsave as a single action, per a search extract.
Your list may not be empty when you think it is. Reddit's listing limit means you may only see about 1,000 items, and users report older saves resurfacing as newer ones go.
How to remove all favorites on TikTok
We found no remove-all in the TikTok help pages we could read. Redact, which sells a deletion tool, wrote in September 2026 that TikTok "has no bulk unsave", so treat that as a vendor's word, though we found nothing contradicting it.
Open the Favorites tab on your profile, open each video, and tap the bookmark icon. Don't start with Collections: according to Minter, deleting a Collection or removing videos with Manage videos leaves them in your Favorites.
How to delete all saved items on Facebook
Facebook's help describes one item at a time:
- Go to
facebook.com/saved. - Click Options next to the item.
- Click Unsave.
We found no select-multiple option. Facebook's help also doesn't say whether deleting a collection unsaves what's inside, so don't count on it. Marketplace saves live in their own list, covered here.
How to clear YouTube Watch Later
YouTube's help, in its desktop, Android, and iPhone versions, covers one video at a time. Go to You, open Watch Later, click More next to the video, and choose Remove from Watch Later.
Remove watched videos is the option you'll see in older guides. A 2023 guide puts it in the three-dot menu on mobile and desktop. A July 2026 post says the desktop site has no "remove everything I've already watched" option, and YouTube's help doesn't mention it. We couldn't settle this, so look in your own menu. Even if it's there, it isn't a clear-all: that 2023 guide says it removes what you've watched or just started, not the rest. More in the Watch Later guide.
How to delete all your Pinterest pins
Pinterest documents no account-wide delete-all, but deleting a board deletes all the Pins on it. That's the real bulk option:
- Open the board and select the ellipsis next to its name.
- Choose Edit board.
- Select Delete, then Delete forever.
Repeat for each board. You get seven days to restore a deleted board under Recently deleted, on desktop or Android only. A single Pin can't be recovered.
For some Pins on a board, Pinterest's help only documents Organize for moving them. A guide updated in February 2026 says Organize also lets you select up to 50 Pins and delete them with a trash can icon, in a desktop browser only. That isn't in Pinterest's help, so check what your version shows.
How to remove all saved posts on Threads
We found no bulk option in the Meta help pages we could read, and a 2024 guide says there's none. Threads' official account puts your saves in Settings, then Saved. That 2024 guide has you open each post, tap the three dots, and tap Unsave. We found no official page for that step.
How to delete all saved posts on LinkedIn
LinkedIn's help only covers one post at a time:
- Desktop: click Saved Items on the left of your homepage, then Saved posts and articles. Click the More icon on a post, then Unsave.
- Mobile: tap your profile picture, then Saved posts. Tap the More icon on a post, then Unsave.
Should you use a mass-delete extension or script?
They exist for some of these apps, and where they do they're often the only one-click route. Nobody tested any for this post, so we can't vouch for one. Here's what we can source:
- LinkedIn is the clearest. It doesn't permit browser extensions that automate activity on its site. It says accounts using them risk being restricted or shut down, and that such tools may stop working without notice.
- YouTube's terms bar accessing the service "using any automated means" without written approval, and allow suspension for material or repeated breaches.
- Instagram restricts accounts it flags for data scraping, and lists giving your login to a third-party app among the possible reasons.
- TikTok's terms ban automated data extraction and let it suspend accounts for violations. They don't mention unfavoriting, so whether a remover crosses that line is unclear.
We didn't check the terms of every app here, so read yours. Vendors know this is a concern: one TikTok remover's store listing advertises "Automatic Cooldowns" and says it keeps clean-ups "gentle on your account". That's its claim, not a guarantee.
Since these tools work from your logged-in session or your account access, and depend on how a site works today, a redesign can stop them. LinkedIn, for one, warns its banned tools may stop working without notice. If you try one, back up first, never hand over your password, check what access it asks for, and start with a small batch.
Common questions
Is there an app that deletes all my saved posts?
Not an official one, apart from the options above. Third-party extensions and scripts exist, but they carry the risks covered above.
How do I back up my saved posts before deleting them?
Export what each app offers, then check whether it holds the posts or only links. Many exports are lists of links, so a tool that copies the content at save time is the stronger backup. Stashr stores the text and images of your saves from X, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn on desktop and imports your existing ones. Turn off capture for an app before you clear it so an unsave doesn't remove your copy.
Can I get my saved posts back after deleting them?
Generally no. We found no documented restore for unsaved posts. Pinterest's seven-day window applies to deleted boards, not single Pins.
Does unsaving a post delete the original?
Not according to any help page we read. Unsaving takes the post off your own list. On Pinterest, deleting a Pin is a different act, and Pinterest says a deleted Pin cannot be recovered.
Does deleting a Pinterest board delete my pins?
Yes. Pinterest says all the Pins on the board are deleted too, and you have seven days to restore the board, on desktop or Android only.
Keep a copy before you clear the list.
Stashr imports your saves from X, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn on desktop and keeps the text and images in a private, searchable library. 14-day trial, no card required.
