Quickstart

Set up Stashr and capture your first bookmarks in about five minutes.

This walkthrough takes you from nothing to a searchable library: create an account, install the extension, save a post, and import your existing saves.

  1. Create your account

Go to stashr.me/signup and sign up with Google or your email. Email sign-in is passwordless: Stashr sends you a 6-digit code instead of asking for a password. New accounts start on a free trial with full access.

  2. Install the browser extension

Add Stashr from the Chrome Web Store. There is no separate extension login. It picks up the session from the web app automatically, so if you are already signed in at stashr.me, you are done. See Install the extension for details.

  3. Save something

Go to a supported platform (today that is X, Reddit, TikTok, or Instagram) and save a post the way you always do: the bookmark button on X and TikTok, Save on Reddit and Instagram. A small "Stashed" tooltip appears next to the button to confirm Stashr captured it.

  4. Import your existing saves

Open the extension popup from the toolbar and press Import next to a platform. Stashr pulls in your saved posts from that platform in the background. You need to be logged in to the platform itself. More in Importing your saves.

  5. Explore your library

Head to stashr.me/bookmarks. Try the search box with a plain-language query, switch between the four views, and add a filter or two. If AI auto-tagging is on, tags start appearing on your saves automatically.

Check your connections

The Connections page in the web app shows every platform Stashr can capture from, whether the extension is connected, and how each import is doing. It is the best place to confirm everything is wired up.
